‘American Idol’ judge Simon Cowell answers questions about Ellen, Howard Stern and what it really takes to be a judge

I listened in on a telephone news conference this afternoon with “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell . Here were some of the highlights (the questions were asked by different journalists from around the country): Q: Does it seem important that a woman win this season? SC: I would say there is a better chance of a woman winning this year.
