Using unnamed sources, the Chicago Sun Times reports that Paula Abdul’s diva-like demands are making it difficult to negotiate deals with ANY TV show.
I bet that’s why “Idol” execs were so willing to let her go. And based on what I saw on the short-lived Bravo reality show “Hey Paula,” she is clearly not an easy person to deal with on a day-to-day basis.
Seems Abdul’s reputation as quite the diva continues. Among her ”needs” are very specific — and pricey — demands regarding office and dressing-room decoration and an insistence on a large entourage of publicists, hair stylists and makeup artists (available 24/7, even when not taping), plus a slew of other assistants.
”The added costs are scaring producers,” said a source involved with the new ”Star Search” concept.
-Constantine Maroulis from season four is now doing the “Rock of Ages” national tour. He was nominated for a Tony doing the Broadway version. He is not coming to Atlanta, based on the early schedule.
