Season 3′s Leah LaBelle celebrates her 24th birthday today. Just 17 years old at the time, Leah was chosen by Paula Abdul as one of the wildcard contestants to advance in the competition. She was eliminated in 12th place.
Leah’s parents immigrated to America from Bulgaria, which has inspired Leah to work hard to make her singing dreams come true. Leah has performed with hit singer Keri Hilson and she sang back-up vocals for Season 6 American Idol Jordin Sparks. Leah even appears in Jordins music video for her popular single S.O.S. (Let the Music Play).
