Just early this week we were already floating the possibility of seeing Paula Abdul on our televisions again… well, it’s not happening. At least not yet.
ABC’s plans to have the former American Idol judge join their revival of Star Search have reached a dead end after not meeting halfway when it comes to pay. Apparently the network wants to pay Abdul a significantly lower salary for the reboot–there are no actual figures, but it is suggested that the figures are much lower than the $5 million she demanded Fox pay her during stalled Idol negotiations last year.
