In addition to the castmates’ recent Vogue photo shoot promoting NYC’s Fashion’s Night Out , our favorite McKinley High and Dalton Academy crooners (minus a curiously absent Amber Riley and Naya Rivera) vamped it up for the cameras with a cover of David Bowie’s “Fashion”. EMI has issued a press release that features some results of its charity auction for Japan disaster relief , in which the label says over 200 artists participated by donating personal items and memorabilia. Altogether, the label says its roster helped raise $940,000 for the Red Cross to use in supporting those affected by last month’s earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan . Head below to see just how much Chris Martin’s jacket, Katy Perry’s cupcake trampoline (!!) and Daft Punk’s 1987 Ferrari featured in Electroma went for. EMI points out that the auctioned items (which were up on eBay as of April 5) raised $470,000, with the label itself doubling that amount for the grand total of $940,000.

It’s Friday Video Time, that special day of the week again when we honor the top songs over the last 50 years that start with a specific letter of the alphabet. This week we move on to the letter “Q” as in, “Que Lastima! How are we going to find one great song per decade that begin with this queer letter?” If only we had the help of Gloria from White Men Can’t Jump on this one. See what artists earned a spot in our “Q” collection by clicking below. As always we love hearing your thoughtful comments your personal music picks, so tell us what you think
