It’s a tale of two Lamberts! Fans of the glam 30-year-old should be pleased to know that in his “Better Than I Know Myself” video, they’ll be getting twice the Adam with a “good” side and a “bad” side at war with each other. On the one side, we’ve got a zen Adam who meditates, listens to his own soothing music on headphones, and has plenty of oxygen. On the other, you have a naughty Adam who drinks alone, rips out his own heart, goes all Chris Brown on some windows, and, presumably, gets in trouble with Helsinki police. Madonna has had all our luvin for quite some time now, but we suppose a little more can’t hurt. As we spied in the “Give Me All Your Luvin” video preview, Madge is definitely working the Super Bowl angle, surrounded by faceless football players who are always around to catch her when need be. And you know she’s a diva when she’s got Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., two of the hottest musicians in the game, on her own personal cheer squad. We estimate this video’s value at, oh, about $300

Sorry — what was that? We could barely hear you over the locomotive that is the Madonna Train roaring through Planet Pop at 140 mph. The Queen truly soared and thrilled over the past seven days, but the week wasn’t without heartbreak, as a bona fide R&B pioneer from the television world met a tragic end. Thankfully we had the Michael Jackson episode of Glee , the rise of UK gents The Wanted and the rad return of Garbage to ease the pain.

Madonna mentioned her intention to do a tour in support of upcoming album MDNA during her sitdown with Graham Norton last month, but so far nothing official has been said about such a venture — until now. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times , Live Nation president and chief exec Michael Rapino stated the following: “At this point we’re optimistic about 2012. Madonna’s going on the road, and those tickets will go on sale right after the Super Bowl.” This announcement comes during what is possibly one of the busiest weeks of The Material Girl’s lengthy career .

American Idol made its first ever audition cattle call in Portland, Oregon, and though the city is commonly stereotyped for its organic-living, irony-accepting citizens, the episode was surprisingly light on the references to Portland’s alternative culture. Katharine McPhee is anything but predictable. Since her days on American Idol , the Los Angeles-born beauty has tried everything from music and film to television and becoming a blonde (and a pixie one at that). And with her brand-new Steven Spielberg-produced NBC drama Smash about to debut, her star is about to rise even further. Don Cornelius, creator of long-running musical variety show Soul Train , has died at age 75 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, reports the New York Times . Police found Cornelius’ body at his Los Angeles home on Mulholland Drive early this morning. After officers responded to a report of a shooting, the television producer was officially pronounced dead at 4:56 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, said Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter.
