Michael Lynche first caught the attention of Season 9 Idol fans when he missed the birth of his baby daughter during Hollywood week, also when he brought American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi to tears with his rendition of ‘This Woman’s Work” and during week 20 he proved to also be a Judges favourite when they [...]

The kids have been pretty tight-lipped about the songs they’re singing, but Michael did spill to Lyndsey that “Woman’s Work” will be part of his 4-song set. Read more HERE . It’s certainly been an oddball season. What the judges first described as “quirky” turned “sleepy” then “lazy” as the weeks rolled on, and here we are, six days away from the finale, with several favorites now gone (Siobhan Magnus, Michael Lynche), one shoo-in still standing (Crystal Bowersox) and a dark horse seemingly taking the lead (Lee DeWyze). But a victory is still very much up in the air, and as the Top 3 proved, even the predictable doesn’t always turn out the way you expected. Now, I’m not one for conspiracy theories.

Mike Lynche stopped by the Wendy Williams Show today. And no, he did not attempt to pick up the statuesque Ms. Williams! Although, Wendy did say, “Doesn’t it feel good to hug a big girl?” After a little chat, Michael, guitar in hand, performed “Ready For Love.” Check it out after the jump.
